Innovative and Sustainable Solutions for the energy sector
Produced Water Treatment
Veolia offers cutting-edge technologies for treating produced water, allowing energy operators to safely reuse or discharge water while meeting stringent environmental regulations. Our solutions enhance operational efficiency by reducing water consumption and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Our technologies such as Coafil for fine filtration, help to remove small particulates and impurities from the water and WHITTIER FILTRATION AutoFlot® is used for flotation-based separation in produced water treatment.
Process Water Treatment
Our advanced treatment systems improve the quality of process water used in various stages of the energy production. By implementing Veolia’s innovative solutions, companies can optimize water usage, minimize downtime, and enhance overall operational performance. Our patented technologies such as TiPSS™ designed for oil-water separation is focusing on removing oil and suspended solids from water streams, and Actiflo® is used for high-rate clarification and removal of suspended solids.
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Systems
Veolia’s ZLD technology helps energy companies achieve sustainable water management by eliminating liquid waste discharge. This not only reduces environmental impact but also enables the recovery of valuable resources from wastewater. For example, at Shell Pearl GTL (Gas-to-Liquids) plant in Qatar, Veolia Water Technologies implemented Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) to manage wastewater effectively and ensure environmental compliance.
